Scare-crow

Lifeless stares caress away soothing gazes
Out of the world, the scare-crow stands
In the dusty heat, neglect it embraces
Each passing day holds no promise any better
Tasting down the impassive stares
Savouring the bitterness if longing, awaits
Patiently at this side, cared by none
Thousands of stories gotta say, but none’s
Vibrant, etched with the sorrow of being
Unworthy, life passes by, into ever rude glances
Falling prey, a laughing stock…
Lifeless soul and endless days, this isn’t
My niche but left choice less before glaring eyes.
In exasperation, to helplessly stare back
At what life has put upon its ruthless path.
