Kerala & Himachal Pradesh

Hi! My name is Kerala.

The meaning of my name is the land of coconuts.

The two other names are Malabar and God’s Own Country.

I was born on 1st November 1956.

I am famous for the mesmerising backwater scenic beauty.

Some famous handicrafts are coconut shell and banana fiber handicrafts.

If you are visiting me, don’t forget to go to Kochi and Munnar.

Himachal Pradesh and I follow the same gods and goddesses.

But I live in a coastal area and Himachal Pradesh lives in a hilly area.

My name is Himachal Pradesh.

The meaning of my name is snowy slopes.

The two other names are Dev Bhoomi or Land of Gods.

I was born on 25th January 1971.

I am famous for Himalayan landscapes and hill stations.

The festival I celebrate is Kullu Dussehra.

I have handicrafts such as Kullu shawl and Himachal topi.

When you visit me, don’t forget to go to Tirthan Valley and Prashar lake.

Kerala and I live in India.

But we speak different languages.
